GIRO_studios is a Melbourne based studio led by artist Gil.
Gil creates one-of-a-kind resin works that explore depth and movement, using transparent dyes and pigment powders in epoxyglass on plexiglass.
Resin has a unique ability to create incredible depth and capture the suspended motion of dyes and pigments within each piece.
The reflective nature of resin not only draws viewers in but also radiates energy, enlivening any space the artwork inhabits. Its fluidity offers a balance between control and flow, allowing each creation to take on a life of its own - often at the intersection of intention and discovery.
